Alan Kenny started his DJ career in the Summer of 1989, Djing around the pubs and clubs of Cheshire and Manchester and soon building a reputation for himself.

After a chance meeting with one of the country's top party DJ'S Tony Thomas in 1992 Alan was invited to join Unit One Entertainments and was taken under Tony Thomas's wing to be trained to be a fully pro DJ.

Alan learnt so much from Tony and honed his skills as he worked through the ranks of Unit One's DJ'S to be very soon classed as category A DJ. This classification opened up the opportunity for Alan to be performing regularly at all of Manchester and Cheshire's finest Hotels such as the Midland Hotel(Crowne Plaza), The Portland Hotel,Piccadilly Hotel, Mere Golf and Country Club etc.

Remaining with Unit One Entertainments for the next fifteen years Alan decided to leave the fold and formed Elite Discos in March 2007. Tragically Alan's mentor Tony Thomas died in 1997 aged just 46 but his legacy in the entertainment business lives on.

As well as playing at functions throughout the Nineties Alan was also invited to DJ at some of the North West's top bars and nightclubs and was a regular on the pub and club scene in Warrington town centre holding residencies at many of Warrington's favourite venues such as Courtyards/ Flares (now Babylon), The Time and Place (The Mississippi Showboat), Secrets,The Village Hotel and many more.

Alan has performed for or alongside many stars of stage and screen and has performed at all of the region's Premiership football clubs, being asked to DJ at the "Player of the Year" awards at Bolton Wanderer's Reebok stadium.One of Alan's most memorable gig's was warming up for North West funnyman Peter Kaye at a large Student's Ball at the Palace Hotel in Manchester. Memorable mainly for the fact that Peter Kaye was booed off the stage by the 600 students and Alan was hurriedly rushed back on to carry the rest of the evening and get the revellers boogying!!!

Since the turn of the Millennium Alan has left the pub and club scene behind and concentrated his efforts on the "Function" side of DJ-ing and has become somewhat of a wedding specialist and performing at approximately 40 to 50 weddings a year throughout the North West's finest venues.

Since 2004 Alan has been the resident DJ at the Paddington House Hotel in Warrington (part of the Venture hotels group - www.venturehotels.co.uk) however is available for bookings throughout the area at any venue of your choosing.
